This policy explains how OneHub Events (“OneHub,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our event planning application and optional Google Calendar integration.
Information we collect and use
We process account and contact information, such as your name and email address, to provide access, respond to inquiries, and communicate about the service. We process information you or your organization enters into OneHub, including event schedules, descriptions, venues, vendors, guest details, and uploaded files, to provide event planning and collaboration features. Service providers may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser information, requests, and error logs, to operate and protect the service. The application uses session cookies for sign-in.
Google account and Calendar information
Connecting Google Calendar is optional and requires your authorization through Google. We request basic Google account information (account identifier, name, email, and profile information) to associate the connection with your OneHub account. Calendar permissions allow OneHub to read calendar information, find or create a OneHub calendar, read events for calendar display, and create or update linked events when you use synchronization features. Calendar data may include event identifiers, titles, descriptions, locations, dates, times, and other event details returned by Google. Calendar access can include your primary calendar when no OneHub calendar is selected.
We store Google authorization access and refresh tokens, token expiry, calendar identifiers, and links between OneHub records and Google event identifiers in our application database. Tokens allow the server to make authorized Calendar requests and renew access without asking you to sign in for each request. Calendar information is used to display and synchronize schedules; event details needed for linked OneHub records may be stored in OneHub. We do not request Gmail inbox access through the Calendar connection.
Sharing and permitted use
Information entered into OneHub is available to authorized users according to application and organization permissions. When you synchronize an event, its details are sent to Google Calendar and are subject to the sharing settings of that Google calendar. We use infrastructure providers, including Vercel for hosting and Supabase for database or file storage, to operate the service. Providers process information as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Human access to Google data is limited to your explicit consent for a specific purpose, security investigations, applicable legal obligations, or aggregated and anonymized internal operations as permitted by Google policy.
OneHub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
Information is processed in the systems of OneHub and its service providers. We use HTTPS for website and API connections and application authentication and authorization to restrict access. Google tokens are processed on the server. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
Retention, disconnecting, and deletion
We retain account and event information while needed to provide the service and address applicable legal, security, or operational obligations. There is no automatic deletion of event records when you disconnect Google Calendar. Choosing Disconnect in OneHub removes the stored access and refresh tokens and stops future synchronization through that connection; existing OneHub events, calendar identifiers, and event mappings remain. Disconnecting does not delete events already created in Google Calendar or revoke the Google permission.
You can revoke Google's permission separately at Google Account connections. To request access, correction, or deletion of your OneHub account or stored information, including Google-related records, email onehubevent@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority over organization data before handling a request. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security obligations, and backup copies may remain until the provider's normal backup lifecycle removes them. You control deletion of Google Calendar events in Google Calendar.
